Apriem Gets Personal with New Content Series

We are excited to announce the launch of our new content series, Apriem Generations.

Too often in our industry, advisors either speak down to their clients or they communicate at such a high macro-economic level that it barely makes sense. We don’t want to be that firm. For 20 years, we’ve provided customer service to the highest degree and now we’re taking it even higher with Apriem Generations by telling stories that matter for all stages of life.

The forum consists of true stories written by our team members. In them, they explain the origins and motivations behind their dedication to providing top-notch financial advice. It often stems from their parents or grandparents, and the character-building lessons carry on through today and beyond. Apriem Generations offers a raw and honest look at topics ranging from planning for retirement to saving for your children’s college.

At Apriem Advisors, we make a point to really know our clients – not just their financial goals, but their personal and emotional journeys as well – and it’s only fair that you know us as well.

Market Update

Economy Remains Strong Despite Market Volatility

By Alan Ahmatovic
Just as the Green Day song goes, “wake me up when September ends!” In case you’re unfamiliar, here is a quick link to the song for some context (YouTube Link).  It wasn’t just Apriem that felt this late summer lull, as investors across the globe faced lower returns and higher volatility. Some sectors in the market produced positive returns while others came in negative, effectively neutralizing the overall market’s performance, which left the S&P 500 returning a modest half a percent. With so much red and green on the screen, you’d think it’s Christmas! Unfortunately, we still have three months to go before the holidays and markets are expected to face continued uncertainty for the remainder of 2018. However, if there’s one thing that’s not uncertain, it’s the strength of the U.S. economy.

Apriem Cares Helps Families, Mentoring

Giving back is at the heart of Apriem’s culture.  We invest in relationships that strengthen and empower our communities at every level. Along with our employees, we volunteer our time and invest our resources with those who are on the front lines of helping others lead more abundant lives.

On Sept. 22, Apriem Advisors attended the Families Forward 34th Anniversary Gala as a “Partner in Progress” sponsor. The event was able to raise more than $480,000 to support vulnerable homeless and nearly homeless families across Orange County.

On Sept. 29, Apriem attended the OC Cornhole Tournament benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of OC. Apriem is one of the major sponsors of the event that raised more than $25,000 to help kids on the waitlist find their mentors. Big Brothers Big Sisters of OC’s mission is to provide strong and enduring, one-to-one, professionally supported mentoring relationships for the more than 3,300 children it serves each year.
