Position Overview
The Portfolio Admin (PA) position is a member of the Investment Team primarily responsible for working closely with the Wealth Managers (WM) and Operations Team in the areas of portfolio administration, portfolio analysis, investment research, and trading. The PA will be responsible for investment-based and client-based duties, among other things that may arise from a small-company setting. The duties are so specialized and complex that knowledge required to perform them is associated with a bachelor’s degree or higher. Career path includes (subject to change) Financial Analyst, Sr. Financial Analyst, Portfolio Manager, CIO.

Duties include:

  • Investment Management:
    • Daily client portfolio administration
      • manage client, securities, and portfolio settings
      • maintain 3rd party databases such as Advisor View, Rebalancer & Citrix
    • Serves as liaison between Investment Team, WMs and Operations Team
    • Trading execution, allocation, and reconciliation, including post-trade audits and communication of trades to the WMs
    • Investment Policy Statement and Implementation Plan creation
    • Prepare reports for prospects and clients
    • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for Economic Update and other client events
    • Research report generation, assemble & review economic & market data for Investment Team
  • Investment Compliance:
    • Assist in maintaining performance composites according to the GIPS® standards
    • Perform employee personal trades audit & Investment Policy audit
    • Maintain and update Investment Compliance logs such as Trade Errors, Best Execution, Restricted Stocks, Illiquid Trades
    • Assist in the creation and filing of 13F securities
    • Assist the CCO/ACO in annual testings

• Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong organization and analytical skills
• Working towards getting the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation
