Shawn Covarrubias brings a sharp attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations by dotting every i and crossing every t. She plays an important role in creating a seamless client experience through well managed and thoughtful back office support.

Her professional background includes working with clients at a large investment firm as well as with two professional sports teams. She credits much of her perspective and people skills to her time waitressing during college, where she learned the importance of listening closely and approaching every interaction with patience.

As Apriem’s first employee in 1998, Shawn holds a meaningful place in the firm’s history and has returned after a decade at home raising her son and twin daughters.

Outside of the office, Shawn enjoys making her famous toffee, spending time with her husband and children, relaxing at the beach, and playing with her two dogs.
