Over 75 women met and mingled at the Center Club on May 7th to hear three great speakers talk about the market, how to find a Financial
Advisor, and ways to navigate all of the noise. We feasted on a wonderful meal while the panel discussed relevant information regarding how the women working in Financial Services have changed over the years.
Our own president, Rhonda Ducote, gave a great Market Update and shared her path to success in Finance. Her’s is a great story starting out with a career in the fashion industry and taking a temporary position at a Financial Services company where she eventually found her niche! She spoke about taking chances, the benefit of having mentors, and the importance of working hard towards a goal. She reminded the audience that “success is not a straight line, it is a winding road.”
It was a great event full of an abundance of information and wonderful success stories.
