FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE— IRVINE, California – November 12, 2019– the Association of Fundraising Professionals has recognized Apriem Advisors as a 2019 Outstanding Small Business Honoree.

National Philanthropy Day (NPD) acknowledges the entire spectrum of services provided by the nonprofit community and recognizes the profound impact that philanthropy has on the fabric of society. Each year the Association of Fundraising Professionals honors individuals and groups who, through their hard work and dedication, have enhanced philanthropy, their communities, and the world.

Apriem’s culture, coined the “Apriem Way”, involves all aspects of our business to be a part of Apriem’s story of generosity – Clients, Crew, and Community (the 3 C’s).

Clients – We have three signature services for our clients: Industrial Service, Women Of Wisdom, and Non-Profit Services. In 2011, we started the Industrial Retiree Service specializing in the industrial sector. Through this we’ve focused on managing assets for blue-collar workers who spend their lives in the refineries, plants, and shipyards of Southern California. Our knowledge on the types of retirement plans offered to these individuals allows us to help select what best benefits them as they prepare for retirement. Geared towards serving moms, widows, and divorcees, we launched Women of Wisdom (WOW) in 2014 to encourage, embrace, and educate women to become more involved in their family finances. And in 2019, our Non-Profit Services was formally launched to serve non-profits such as 501(c)3, charitable trusts, and donor-advised funds.

Crew – Giving back comes from all levels of the firm including cash, in-kind giving, employee time and skills, and public leadership. To promote and support the staff’s philanthropic causes, Apriem offers donation-matching, paid volunteer time off, and in 2020 will launch dollars-for-doers.

Community – Our charitable arm, ‘Apriem Cares’, was formalized in order to build deep relationships with organizations serving causes dear to us: women, children, and education. Apriem Charitable Fund was established to support our philanthropic culture of supporting causes that align with key outreach segments that are dear to our employees such as women, children and education.

Apriem Advisors, along with the other honorees, was highlighted in the September 2nd issue of the Orange County Business Journal and November 10th issue of The Orange County Register, online at ocregister.com. The award ceremony will be held on November 14, 2019 in Anaheim, CA.
